Tacco Coin Holder Embossed Florentine Lily

Treat yourself to a trendy keepsake from Florence. This leather coin pouch is the same design of the ones that were used by Florentines for decades and are still a useful coin holder in our day and age - not only for Florentines. Features a gold embossed Florentine Lily - the symbol of the city of Florence dating back to the 12th century. 

Made entirely from one piece of vegetable tanned leather - each piece is formed into the desired shaped using the wet forming process. Shaped like a horse shoe, where the name "tacco" (heel) comes from, the leather is cut, moistened and formed over a mold. The final result is this classic glossy leather accessory. Suitable to carry in your pocket, this "tacco" has an internal divider to add banknotes.

A part of Florentine history, the origins of this leather accessory can be traced back over 200 years ago to the monks from the Florence area.

Measure a shirt in your size from the middle of the button to the end of the buttonhole
Measure the width of the shoulders by sliding the centimeter at the two ends at the widest point
Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit, at the widest point then double it
measure your circumference at belly button height
To take the measurement, determine with a straight leg the length from the hips to the sole of the foot.
