The coloring of Campomaggi products is obtained through a special vegetable dyeing process of the article that makes each piece a unique creation with inimitable characteristics. This process means that the leather, which is called Lavata (washed), deliberately shows marks and stains due to brushing, which are not to be considered defects, but typical results of this method.
